Did you ever feel low?
Did you ever delay doing things?
Did you ever stop doing things that you had started?
Did you ever find yourself saying I don’t feel like doing it?
Did you ever say I don’t find the meaning in it?
Did you ever find yourself in a job that does not excite you?
If you said yes to any or all the above questions, you are a normal human being! Nothing is unusual about you.
It only means that those things did not excite you, did not energize you. If you are in a job that does not excite you it only means it does not energize you. If you find something boring, it only means that you don’t feel a connection with that, it does not excite you, it means it does not energize you.
Anything we don’t feel connected to does not excite us which in other words is it does not energize us.
We all want to do things that make sense to us. We are wired for connection and do things & connect with people that make sense to us, make us feel good, excite us, energize us.
Of course, each one of us is unique in a way that what energizes me might be different from what energizes you. But the common thing is something energizes us.
It is therefore very essential for us to become aware of what energizes us and pursue that to live a fulfilling life, a meaningful life.
Now, you might ask me the next question as to how to find what energizes me?
Well, my answer might disappoint you, but the truth is I can help you in the process of finding it, but I cannot find it for you. Only you can know what energizes you and what does not. The reason for that is like I said, each one of us is unique in how we experience life, and what matters to us would differ. However, the good news is that it is not that you cannot find it out yourselves. You must consciously reflect on everything you are doing and engaged within your life and notice what excites you and what does not.
It is a discovery process but that is the only way to find what energizes you. Find your flame, live your life.
